Saturday's Illinois State Invitational postponed due to national tragedy

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saturday's scheduled Illinois State Cross Country Invitational was postponed on Thursday.
The meet was to include the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale men's and women's teams, as well as 14 other schools. The meet has not been rescheduled as of the time of this release.
The SIU men's and women's teams are coming off a first-place finish at the season-opening Saluki Fast Start Open held on Saturday, August 31st.
The Salukis next scheduled meet is the Illinois Invitational, to be held on Saturday, September 22.
