Abdulqaadir Wins 4th Straight Player of the Week Award

Southern Illinois running back Muhammad Abdulqaadir won an unprecedented fourth straight Player of the Week award from the Gateway Conference for his 209-yard rushing performance againts Northern Iowa Saturday.
Abdulqaadir was involved in five of SIU's six touchdowns, as he ran for four scores and completed a 14-yard halfback option toss to Courtney Abbott. He also caught one pass for eight yards.
Abdulqaadir already has more 200-yard rushing games (4) in his career than any player in SIU history, and he's done it all in the last four weeks. Abdulqaadir is the first player in Gateway history to win four consecutive Player of the Week honors.
