Women's Basketball to Face Hungary Tomorrow

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's women's basketball team looks to get its second preseason win in one final exhibition tune-up tomorrow when the Salukis host Hungary at 5:05 p.m.
SIU enters Saturday's game coming off a 80-73 win over St. Louis Goldstar on Nov. 10.
Juniors Tiffany Crutcher, Jodi Heiden and Alissa Jaehnke spearheaded the Dawgs against Goldstar as each scored double figures. Crutcher led all Saluki scorers with 18 points, while Heiden followed with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jaehnke then rounded out the trio with 10 points.
Senior standout Molly McDowell, who suffered a bruised right knee late in the game against Goldstar, will return to action this weekend after practicing with the team all week.
