Women's Golf Opens Play at Illini Spring Classic

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois returns to the links today when it opens play at the University of Illinois' Illini Spring Classic. The two-day event begins with 18 holes today before concluding with another 18 holes tomorrow.
The 16-team field at this year's Illini Spring Classic includes Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Cincinnati, Eastern Illinois, Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Illinois, Illinois State, Indianapolis, Missouri-Kansas City, Northern Illinois, SIU, Southwest Missouri State, Truman State and Western Michigan.
Today's tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. with split-tees on holes 1 and 10. Saturday will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. as well.
