Champaign, Ill. - Senior Alison Hiller finished first out of 85 competitors to lead Southern Illinois to a second place finish at the Illini Spring Classic which ended today.

Hiller shot a two-round score of 148 (70-78) en route to her second tournament title this season. Also garnering a top-five finish for SIU was Andrea Turner who placed fourth carding a score of 152 (76-76).

SIU, who stood in first place after day one of competition, posted a final score of 621 which stood just three strokes shy of tournament winner, Illinois.

The Salukis will conclude their spring season on April 21-23 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Normal, Ill.
