Carbondale, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University (1-5, 0-1 MVC) men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to Ball State (8-11) by a 6-1 margin at University Courts.
SIU's Lukasz Soswa was the lone Saluki to win a match, when he won the No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-4 over Mike Heule.
SIU faces Illinois-Chicago on March 31 at 11 a.m. in Carbondale.
