Women's Golf to Hold Benefit Outing

Carbondale, Ill. - The Saluki women's golf team will play host to its 12th Annual Tres Hombres/Michelob Light Ladies Golf Scramble Saturday, May 4 at Midland Hills Golf Course, just south of Carbondale. The day-long golfing event will begin at 8 a.m.
The benefit features more than 100 golfers of all skill levels competing for fun and prizes. Each team is paired with a current or former Saluki player from head coach Diane Daugherty's successful teams. Daugherty, herself, can be found lending a hand - or a nine iron - from her permanent place at the 6th and 15th tee boxes.
In addition to golfing, good photo opportunities will be available throughout the day. Coach Daugherty and members of the 2002 Saluki Women's Golf Team, as well as former Saluki players, will also be on hand for interviews at your request.
