Volleyball Travels To Drake, Creighton For Conference Matches

Carbondale, Ill. - The Salukis have their eyes set on increasing their 2-2 Missouri Valley Conference mark this weekend. Southern Illinois will play at Drake Friday night and at Creighton Saturday night. Both matches are to begin at 7 p.m.
Drake is 1-2 in league play and have a 3-11 season record. Last year, the Salukis swept Drake in both meetings.
Creighton is 0-3 in the conference and 0-9 overall. The Bluejays handed SIU two conference losses last season. Creighton has won six straight against the Salukis.
Southern Illinois swept Western Illinois Tuesday night (30-19, 30-28, 30-25). That win puts the Salukis' record at 9-5 for the season.
