CARBONDALE, Ill. - If the Saluki football team is selected to host a first round I-AA Playoff game when the pairings are announced Sunday at noon, student tickets will go on-sale immediately after the pairings are announced. Area businesses and season ticket holders have pledged to donate a handful of student tickets, which will be made available to students on the morning of the game.
Student tickets will cost $6 with a valid SIU student ID. Students may purchase tickets in one of three ways - in person at the main entrance to the arena, on-line using Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) or toll-free by phone (866-646-8849).
The Gate 3 ticket window on the northeast side of McAndrew Stadium will open at 10 a.m. on game day. Only one ticket per student will be distributed. Approximately 100 donated student tickets will be distributed free at 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students must show a valid SIU student ID to receive a ticket.
