Women's Golf Opens Spring Season in Miami

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's women's golf team opens its spring season at the Florida International Golden Panther Classic Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 10-11.
SIU is one of 12 teams heading to the two-day event which begins with 36 holes Monday, before concluding with 18 holes Tuesday.
The Salukis' lineup will feature Tiffany Fritsche, Abbigail Johnson, Stefanie Pate, Amy Rankin and Megan Tarrolly. In addition, team-captain Jennifer Shutt will be competing as an individual.
The FIU Spring Classic marks the first of six tournaments the Dawgs will play this spring.
