Kyle Hosick Named MVC Golfer of the Week

ST. LOUIS, MO. - Sophomore Kyle Hosick was named Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, announced today by the league office.

A native of Carmi, Ill., Hosick shot a personal best 70-71-67--208 to win the Murray State Invitational in Murray, Ky., this week. He led the Salukis to a fourth place finish in the 10-team tournament under ninth-year head coach Leroy Newton.

Hosick's 208 is second-best in SIU history for a 54-hole score.
