Cross Country Hosts Saluki Invitational Saturday

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University's cross country team returns home to host the Saluki Invitational tomorrow. The women's 5K race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the men's 8K trot at 10:45 a.m.
SIU's men's team will look to defend its Saluki Invitational title from a year ago, while the Saluki women hope to build on its second-place showing.
Other teams competing in this year's event in addition to SIU are Arkansas-Little Rock, Evansville, Illinois (W), Illinois State, Indiana Southeast, Indiana State, Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne, Memphis, SE Missouri State, Saint Louis, Missouri-Kansas City and Washington University-St. Louis.
