Saluki Football Announces 'Adopt A Dawg' Fundraiser

The Southern Illinois University football team announced a new fund-raising concept Thursday called "Adopt A Dawg." For $50, Saluki fans can register for a drawing in which they will be matched with their choice of either an offensive or defensive player.
The results of the drawing will be announced at the annual Saluki Fish Fry on August 21.
Fans will receive a lapel pin with a photo of their adopted Saluki player, a weekly e-mail from Coach Kill on the progress of the team, a tailgate party with their player's family at a Saluki home game, a "Saluki Dad" or "Saluki Mom" t-shirt and either a game program or media guide.
