Women's Tennis Travel to Ball State

CARBONDALE, IL. - The Salukis will try to improve on their 1-4 record as they travel to Muncie, Ind., to take on Ball State on Friday and Youngstown State on Saturday.

The Salukis will begin their weekend as they take on the 5-2 Cardinals of Ball State. Ball State is lead by Senior Jenny Batty at the No. 1 singles spot and looks to Batty to team up with freshmen Stephenie Farrar to make up the Cardinals No. 1 doubles team.

SIU will not have much time to rest, as they will take on Youngstown State on Saturday. SIU will look to junior Maria Blanco to face off against Youngstown's Karen Najbert at the No. 1 singles spot while Saluki senior Tana Trapani will square off against freshmen Michelle Fulkey at the No. 2 singles spot.
