Women's Tennis Shut Out by Illinois State

CARBONDALE, IL. - The Salukis finished out their regular season today, as they were shut out by the Illinois State Redbirds 7-0.
The Salukis struggled to get anything going as they found their selves trailing 1-0 after dropping all three doubles matches. SIU attempted to mount a come back in singles play, but were denied by a focused ISU squad, as the Redbirds took all six singles matches.
The Salukis finished the regular season with a 6-12 overall record and a 4-5 mark in MVC play.
SIU will begin post season play on April 29, when they head to Peoria, IL. to compete in the MVC Championships.
