Expect a Big Crowd Saturday
According to the Bloomington Pantagraph, Illinois State athletics director Sheahon Zenger said earlier in the week that temporary bleachers will be brought in to increase seating capacity for tomorrow's game between the fifth-ranked Redbirds and seventh-ranked Salukis. Zenger also said fans will be allowed to sit on the grass behind the north end zone and on the ends of the vistors' side. With favorable weather conditions, he expects a crowd of 14,000 to 16,000 to see these teams square off in a key Gateway Conference matchup on the Redbirds' Homecoming. ISU has not listed a game attendance at 15,000 or more since 1977.
