Yutzy earns All-Missouri Valley Conference honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Southern Illinois volleyball player Johannah Yutzy earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors for the second-straight season the league announced Wednesday, by a vote of league coaches.
The senior middle blocker was named to the MVC Second-Team after garnering first-team honors in 2005. The Plain City, Ohio native led the team this season with 324 kills for a 3.27 per game average, hitting .293, third in the league. Yutzy was second on the team with 89 blocks for a 0.90 per game average. She finishes her career with a .298 hitting percentage ranking third all-time at SIU.
Yutzy also earned Honorable Mention All-MVC Scholar-Athlete honors as a junior and senior.
