Baseball hosts Central Michigan in home-opener this weekend

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois (4-1) will host preseason Mid-American Conference West Division favorite Central Michigan (2-0) in its home-opener this weekend. The Salukis and Chippewas play a four-game series, beginning Thursday at 2 p.m., CST.
SIU and CMU were initially scheduled to play a three-game set, but the series was extended after each team lost a game due to bad weather last week.
Dates: Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 23-26, 2006
Times: Thu: 2 p.m.; Fri: 2 p.m.; Sat: 1 p.m.; Sun: 1 p.m., CST
