CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University sophomore Erin Pauk was named to the 2006 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Team, announced today. She garnered second-team honors.
A native of St. Charles, Mo., Pauk boasts a 4.0 GPA in Psychology and has started in all but two games as the Salukis' point guard this season.
Statistically, Pauk leads SIU with 66 assists, while averaging a third-best 8.6 points per game. She also ranks among Missouri Valley Conference leaders in assists (9th), assist/turnover ratio (3rd) and minutes played (7th).
