Milleville named MVC Field Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Southern Illinois thrower Mark Milleville was named the Missouri Valley Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Milleville boasted his second regional qualifying mark of the season winning the discus with a 184-05 effort at the Sea Ray Relays over the weekend. His throw is third on the all-time best list at SIU. The senior also finished fourth in the hammer (212-03). He currently ranks first in the hammer and discus and fifth in the shot on the Valley best list. He also ranks seventh nationally in the hammer, regionally qualified in the event.
This is Milleville's fourth MVC honor of the year, second during the outdoor season.
