Mediacom cable to air three, Football road games

Saluki fans throughout the region, who subscribe to Mediacom cable, will get to see three, Southern Illinois football road games this season, including the marquee matchup with Big Ten opponent Indiana on Sept. 16.

In addition to the non-conference game against the Hoosiers, Mediacom will broadcast Gateway Conference tilts at Illinois State (Oct. 14) and Missouri State (Oct. 28).

"We are excited to enter our second season with Mediacom," said Mario Moccia, SIU's Director of Athletics. "Mediacom has a reputation for producing quality sports programming, and we are pleased that our partnership will bring these contests to the Saluki nation."

Mediacom will air the games in its markets throughout much of Illinois and Missouri, and parts of Kentucky and Iowa.
