Mohamed earns MVC Athlete of the Week honors

ST. LOUIS - Following his 19th-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational cross country runner Mohamed Mohamed was named the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
Mohamed posted a time of 24:21 in the five-mile run and placed in the top-20 in a field of 178 runners.
This is the second time Mohamed has earned the league honor this season.
