Football signees getting notable recognition

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University signees Joe Allaria and Bobby Brenneisen recently received some notable recognition. Allaria and Brenneisen, both quarterbacks from Illinois, inked with the Salukis last Wednesday.
In the February 8th edition of USA Today, Allaria (Edwardsville/Edwardsville H.S.) was among the nation's Top-50 high school football red zone performers, while Brenneisen (Springfield/Sacred Heart Griffin H.S.) was named to the PrepNation 101 All-America football team.
PrepNation.com, a website devoted to high school sports, bills its team as "the only high school All-America squad that includes players from all 50 states."
