ROBERTS LOOKS TO EXTEND 11-GAME HITTING STREAK
True freshman Aaron Roberts is on a double-digit game hitting streak for the second time this season. A native of Chatham, Ill., Roberts hit safely in 11-straight games dating back to April 8. Only one game stops Roberts from being on a 26-game hitting streak at this point in the season. He recorded at least one hit in 14 consecutive games prior to going 0-for-3 at Evansville on Mar. 31. From then on, he hit safely in each of his last 11 contests, making 25 of 26 games where he's gotten a hit. Roberts is fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference with a .395 batting average.
SALUKIS VS. BILLIKENS
SIU and SLU meet for the fifth-straight year in a wood bat game at GCS Ballpark in Sauget. The Salukis have won all four of the previous meetings, outscoring the Billikens, 30-4.
