Stuart qualifies for Pan American Junior Championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois long jumper Bianca Stuart officially qualified for the Pan American Junior Championships to be held in Fortaleza, Brazil July 6-8.

Stuart, a Nassau, Bahamas native, had to reach the 19-08.25 qualifying standard at the Bahamas National Junior Track & Field Championships June 16 and did so, jumping 19-11.75. She is one of just two collegiate women to make the team from her country.
