Norris named MVC Track Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Southern Illinois senior Andrea Norris was named this week's State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
Norris, a Lisle, Ill. native, ran 11.82 in the women's 100-meter dash good for second place at the Ole Miss Invitational Saturday in Oxford, Miss. The senior's mark leads the league this season.
The Salukis will be back in action on Friday and Saturday April 18-19 when they travel to Nashville, Tenn., to compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational.
