CARBONDALE, Ill. - Season tickets for Saluki Football are on-sale now. The 2008 schedule features six home games, including a marquee matchup with arch-rival Northern Iowa on Sept. 27.
The Dale Lennon-era at Southern Illinois officially begins with the season-opener against Hampton on Sept. 6. Other home opponents include homecoming versus Indiana State on Oct. 11, Lennon's former school, North Dakota, on Nov. 1, and late-season Gateway Conference tilts with Western Illinois (Nov. 8) and South Dakota State (Nov. 15).
Renewals for the 2008 season were mailed to 2007 season ticket holders on April 18, and are also available online through Saluki Click Tix. Current season ticket holders who renew their seats before May 23 will receive an early-bird discount of the 2007 season ticket price.

Season tickets for the 2008 season are $90 for all six games. Season ticket holders receive significant savings versus buying individual game tickets and will have first priority to purchase tickets for 2008 playoff games held at McAndrew Stadium.
Faculty/Staff season tickets, family and group season ticket plans are also available. For more information about these plans, please contact the SIU ticket office at 618-453-2000.
Single game tickets will be available in early August.
