Track and Field athletes to compete at NCAA National Championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Three athletes on the Southern Illinois track and field teams will begin competition Wednesday at the 2008 NCAA National Championships in Drake Stadium.
Brittany Riley, a five-time All-American, will throw the hammer. She is currently ranked second in the nation this season after finishing second in the hammer a year ago.
Men's thrower Brenton Siemons will compete in the shot put for the second-straight year, while long jumper Bianca Stuart, a two-time indoor national championship participant, advances to the outdoor championships for the first time.
