Saluki Invitational cancelled on Sunday

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Due to inclement weather from the remains of hurricane Ike, all Sunday games at Charlotte West Stadium for the Saluki Invitational have been cancelled.

Southern Illinois will continue fall exhibition play next weekend at the Illinois Collegiate Softball Tournament in Normal, Ill. SIU will face Western Illinois at 2:30 p.m. and Illinois at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, before starting bracket competition on Sunday.
