No. 3 Southern Illinois plays its third-to-last conference game of the season when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to take on Indiana State, Saturday on Halloween in Memorial Stadium... Kickoff between the Salukis and Sycamores is set for 11:05 a.m. CT... This will be SIU's third TV game of the season, as Mediacom Cable is carrying the game live on Ch. 22 in Carbondale. Tom Ackerman (play-by-play) and Darren Kinnard (color analyst) are calling the TV broadcast... The Saluki Sports Network with "Voice of the Salukis" Mike Reis, color analyst Gene Green and sideline reporter Joel Sambursky are bringing fans all the Saluki football action on WVZA-FM 105.1 in Carbondale. Indiana State just ended its 33-game losing streak with a 17-14 victory over Western Illinois last weekend... Head coach Dale Lennon is a perfect 11-0 against unranked opponents at SIU and the Dawgs enter Saturday's game having won their last six games... Junior cornerback Korey Lindsey was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sunday and the national co-Defensive Player of the Week by the Sports Network on Monday after his career-high 12 tackles and two interceptions against Youngstown State... Southern Illinois has won 11-straight MVFC games, which is tied for the second most in league history. A win Saturday will bring the Salukis within one victory of tying Northern Iowa's record of 13 consecutive league victories from 1993-95.
