Lockwood invited to Chicago Bears rookie camp

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University offensive lineman Aaron Lockwood received an invitation to the Chicago Bears rookie camp.
A native of Topeka, Kan., Lockwood started every game at left guard for the Salukis last year. He earned first-team Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision All-American and Missouri Valley Football Conference honors, and was a key fixture of SIU's offense which ranked second in the conference in passing (372.2 ypg) and fourth in scoring (44.4 ppg).
Lockwood started 39-consecutive games over the last three years of his Saluki career.
