Saluki Athletics participating in Soles4Souls

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saluki Athletics is partnering with SIU's Department of Kinesiology to participate in the Soles4Souls project.
Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects donated shoes from companies, retailers, and individuals and provides them to areas of the world that are in need.
With the most recent tragedy in Haiti in mind, Saluki Athletics invites any fans attending Saturday's men's basketball game against Western Michigan or women's basketball game against Illinois State to donate footwear of any kind to benefit those who have suffered.
Collection boxes for donated shoes will be available at SIU Arena during Saturday's doubleheader, as well as in the Troutt-Wittmann Academic Center until February 26th.
