Hagstrom hired as director of video services

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saluki Athletics announced Tuesday the hiring of Chris Hagstrom as the director of video services.
Hagstrom has been the director of production, entertainment, and promotions for the Southern Illinois Miners since 2007.
While working for the Miners, Hagstrom was also the sports engineer for Saluki Sports Properties. He was responsible for the production and engineering of all Saluki Football and Basketball games for the radio network.
"We are excited to have Chris on staff, and his experience will be a great asset as we move into the new stadium and the upgraded arena," said Director of Marketing Mark Gazdik.
Hagstrom received his bachelor's degree in Radio and Television from Southern Illinois University. While attending SIU Hagstrom was the Sports Director for WIDB Radio, the student-run radio station, where he served as lead play by play and color commentator for football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.
