CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois ticket office has tickets available for the Saluki Football game at Illinois on Sept. 11.
Tickets for the 6:30 p.m. game in Memorial Stadium go for $45 each and can be purchased in person at the SIU ticket office or by calling 1-877-SALUKIS.
The Salukis and Fighting Illini have met twice before and last faced one another in 1990. That game was played in Champaign, as was the 1985 meeting.
Southern Illinois returns nine starters from its 2009 team that went 11-2, captured the Missouri Valley Football Conference Championship and ended the year ranked No. 6.
