Volleyball to host scrimmage Saturday

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois volleyball team will host a scrimmage Saturday in Davies Gym at 10 a.m.
Saluki White will square off against Saluki Maroon in a inner-squad match up showcasing the 2010 team.
The team has cancelled the Annual Sand Volleyball Tournament Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday and will host a Junior Saluki Volleyball Clinic for Ages 7-12 Oct. 9, to replace the cancelled fundraiser.
Students ages 7 to 12 are invited to spend the afternoon in Davies Gym. The coaches will teach volleyball skills and each student will meet the team, tour the facility and get an autographed poster before attending the Salukis' match against Illinois State at 7 p.m.
The clinic will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will cost $25 per person and include a t-shirt, admission to the match and clinic.
