Single-game football tickets on sale Aug. 5

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois ticket office announced Tuesday that single-game tickets for all six home Saluki Football games in the inaugural season at Saluki Stadium will go on sale to the general public this Thursday, Aug. 5, beginning at 8 a.m.
Reserved seats start at $17 for adults and $10 for youth.
To purchase tickets, simply visit the SIU Ticket Office at its new location in the South entrance to the SIU Arena and the new athletic support facility. You may also call 1-877-SALUKIS to purchase tickets or for more information. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The home schedule includes the inaugural game in Saluki Stadium against Quincy on Thursday, Sept. 2 and a Sept. 18 clashing with Southeast Missouri State. SIU hosts conference foes Northern Iowa, Oct. 9 on Homecoming, and South Dakota State, Oct. 16 for Family Weekend, in back-to-back weeks.
Then the Salukis close out the 2010 season with a pair of home games against Western Illinois, Nov. 13, and Indiana State, Nov. 20.
