Women's Basketball to hold 'Salukis Care' promotion

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois women's basketball team will reward fans who give back to the community this week as part of its "Salukis Care" promotion.

Fans who bring a canned good to the Salukis' game Thursday against Loyola-Chicago or Sunday against Chicago State at SIU Arena will be admitted for $1. All canned goods collected will be donated to a southern Illinois area food pantry.
