Athletics to host Saluki Shootout on Saturday, Dec. 10

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University Department of Athletics is proud to announce the inaugural Saluki Shootout, which will feature 14 area high school basketball teams in a day-long slate of games on Saturday, Dec. 10 at SIU Arena.
The Saluki Shootout will feature two sessions with four games in the first session and three games in the second. The first session tips off at 11 a.m. and the second session will begin at 6 p.m.

11:00 am Carbondale vs. Marion (Girls)

12:30 pm Carbondale vs. Marion

 2:00 pm Nashville vs. Benton (Girls)

 3:30 pm Nashville vs. Waterloo Gibault
Session 2
6:00 pm Pinckneyville vs. Monticello

 7:30 pm Okawville vs. Trico

 9:00 pm Harrisburg vs. Breese Central
Session tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youths high school and younger. Group tickets of 25 or more are $9 for adults and $4 for youths per session. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the SIU Ticket Office at 877-SALUKIS or 618-453-2000. Fans can also purchase tickets at the ticket office during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets will also be available at home Saluki men's and women's basketball games leading up to the Shootout.
