CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois track & field team will look to carry their momentum from last weekend into Oxford, Miss., Saturday when they compete in the Ole Miss Invitational.
The meet will bring in over two dozen schools to the meet ranging from Division I to NJCAA. Among the bigger names at the meet include the host Rebels, Ivy League contender Harvard, and SEC power Alabama.
Competition is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer throw and the women's javelin. Running events will get under way with the women's 3000 meter steeplechase at 11 a.m.
The Salukis made plenty of noise at last year's meet, as they took 57 top-ten finishes and seven event titles.
