Tickets: Tickets are now available at the Rent One Park box office. All tickets are general admission seating on the lower level and priced at $5. SIU students can purchase tickets at the discounted price of $3 when they show an SIU student ID.

• This is the fourth-annual Interstate Baseball Classic played between SIU and Illinois at Rent One Park.. Illinois has won two of the three previous meetings, winning 5-4 in 2010 and 5-2 in 2008. SIU won the 2009 game, 9-6.
• This is the third meeting between Southern Illinois and Illinois this year. The two teams split the first two games with each team winning on the road. SIU leads the all-time series, 29-23.
• The Salukis are just 3-9 in midweek games this year and 0-7 in Tuesday games. SIU does own a 3-0 record this year when playing at a neutral site.
• SIU enters the month of May coming off a 10-10 record during April. Over the last five seasons Southern Illinois has a 28-20 record in May, counting only regular season games.
• SIU senior right-handed pitcher Andrew Bever will start on the mound Tuesday. He owns a 3-4 record this year with a 3.86 ERA. Bever led Southern Illinois to a 3-0 win over the Fighting Illini back on April 13 by throwing eight scoreless innings. Bever tied his career-high with six strikeouts in the game where he only gave up five hits and did not walk a single batter.
