Salukis ranked regionally in Week 2 of USTFCCCA Poll

CARBONDALE, Ill. --The Southern Illinois men's cross country team remains ranked in the latest poll released by the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday. The women's team also joins the poll for the first time since their ranking in 2009.
The Saluki men moved up one spot from the previous week to tenth place in the Midwest Region poll. They trail just behind fellow Missouri Valley Conference school Drake, who is ranked ninth.
On the women's side, the team ranked fifteenth in the Midwest Region after capturing the title at the EIU Walt Crawford Invitational last Friday.
The Salukis continue their season when they host the Saluki Invitational this Saturday, Sept. 24.
