Saluki Athletics inducts six into Hall of Fame

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saluki Athletics inducted six individuals into the Saluki Hall of Fame during a ceremony at SIU Arena on Friday evening.
The distinguished class was headlined by first-ballot inductee Joel Sambursky (Football), and also included Sandy Blaha (Women's Golf), John Garrett (Men's Basketball), Nate Hawthorne (Men's Basketball), Gary Hunter (Track & Field) and Kristie Kemner (Volleyball).
The 2012 Hall of Fame class will be recognized at halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game versus Evansville that tips off at 2:05 p.m.
