Football helps raise over $6,600 in annual Souper Bowl

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The SIU Football team helped raise a record breaking amount during the annual Souper Bowl that benefited the Good Samaritan House of Carbondale.

The final total of Saturday's event totaled out to $6,651.32, which was $2,726.42 greater than last years amount of $3,924.42.

Members of the SIU Football teams were located at local Carbondale grocery stores collecting donations. This was also the tenth year the team has participated in the fundraiser.
