Fans filled Saluki Stadium for Football Fan Fest

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Over 500 fans were on the field at Saluki Stadium for the Saluki Football Fan Fest on Thursday night. Fans met and interacted with the 2012 Salukis one week before the team opens the season on the road against Eastern Illinois on Thursday, Aug. 30. The players signed autographs and also tossed the football with the younger fans.

Fans in attendance had the opportunity to tag their seats for season tickets for the upcoming season as well as get an up close look at the Salukis newly designed helmets and Under Armour equipment. Prairie Farms provided free chocolate milk and ice cream as 105.1 WVZA broadcasted live from the event. The Saluki mascots, cheerleaders and shakers were also on the field.
