Saluki Cross Country receives All-Academic accolades

CARBONDALE, Ill.- The Saluki men’s and women’s cross country teams earned All-Academic team honors for the 2014 season, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Wednesday.
To earn All-Academic honors, a team must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. The men’s team was one of 179 to earn the honor, while the women’s team was one of 226 programs.
The Saluki men earned All-Academic status with a 3.08 GPA. The women’s team received the accolade after they were recognized for their 3.61 GPA.
