Coach B Classic canceled, schedule changes announced

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Due to weather conditions, Southern Illinois will not be able to host the Coach B Classic, which was scheduled for March 7-8 at Dr. Charlotte West Stadium. SIU will travel to Florida for games this weekend in the Rebel Spring Games, and Tuesday's Austin Peay game has been rescheduled for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Clarksville, Tenn., on April 16. The Salukis will face Northern Illinois on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. CT at the Osceola County Softball Complex in Kissimmee, Fla. SIU will play Creighton (9 a.m. CT) and Bucknell (11:15 a.m. CT) on Monday, March 9, at the Diamond Plex in Winter Haven, Fla.
