The Saluki Softball program was part of the first regular-season Division I softball games played outside the United States. SIU went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for five days. The highlight of the trip came one morning when the team had the opportunity to work with local school kids and teach the game of softball.

The Saluki Softball team met with a group of local school kids in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and helped them with some softball pointers. The kids have a new favorite softball team!
