CARBONDALE, Ill. - Registration is open for the 26th Annual Chicagoland Saluki Scramble. Deerfield Golf Club will host the scramble on Friday, July 31, at 1 p.m. CT. Golf with Saluki Athletics administration and coaches for just $500 per foursome.
Individual golfers can register for $150, and hole sponsorships are available for $150. There will also be an opportunity to golf with new SIU Director of Athletics Tommy Bell or an SIU head coach.
Registrants will be eligible for raffles, prizes and on-course games; and the entry fee includes dinner, green fees, golf cart, on-course beverages and a special gift. Silent auction items include a South Africa Safari, a trip to the British Virgin Islands, and memorabilia from multiple Chicagoland sports teams.
The Chicagoland Saluki Scramble has raised more than $420,000 for Saluki Athletics since its inception in 1989, funds that have benefited SIU student-athletes through improved facilities, academics and scholarship funds.
