Fans meet 2016 Salukis at Fan Fest

CARBONDALE, Ill - Hundreds of fans came out to Saluki Stadium on Tuesday evening to meet the 2016 Saluki Football and Volleyball teams. Fans met and interacted with the 2016 Salukis three days before the 2016-17 athletics season opens with volleyball's game on Friday against Central Michigan The student-athletes from both programs signed autographs and played with the younger fans.

Fans in attendance had the opportunity to tag their seats for season tickets for the upcoming season. Prairie Farms provided free chocolate milk and ice cream as 105.1 WVZA broadcasted live from the event. The Saluki mascots, cheerleaders and shakers were also on the field.

Family weekend is set for Sept. 17 vs. Murray State, and Homecoming is Oct. 22 against Indiana State. Purchase tickets by calling 877-SALUKIS.
