CARBONDALE, Ill. -- VolleyballMag.com released its inaugural mid-major poll Tuesday, with the Southern Illinois University women's volleyball team cracking the top-20. The Salukis are the No. 18-ranked team in a poll that features teams from the 27 non-power conferences.
SIU received 63 points, while Hawaii earned top billing with 249 total points. Southern is one of four Missouri Valley Conference schools on the list, and are joined by Wichita State (No. 9), Missouri State (No. 13), and Northern Iowa (No. 23).
